As stated in the Saint Martin's University catalog, this course “is an exploration of money, banking and financial markets in the contemporary U.S. and world economies."

In this course we will study the structure, function, and management of financial markets and institutions. We will go beyond the textbook by examining financial publications as well as other sources of financial and economic data. Where applicable data will be evaluated using Microsoft Excel.
