Schedule and Homework Assignments

This course introduces students to topics in algebraic functions, set theory, probability, and descriptive and inferential statistics. Students will also be introduced to a number of mathematical models that have proven effective in solving certain classes of managerial problems. The tools to be surveyed include linear programming, network programming and analysis, forecasting, statistical process control and decision theory. Students will learn the strengths, weaknesses, and limitations of the various applications and models presented.
