This course provides intensive coverage of management of engineering and technology projects from concept through operations. Project selection, goal setting, resource and cost estimating, and project planning organizing, and controlling are emphasized. The course focuses on analyzing current best practices of technology firms in the local economy. The role of the project manager, team building, conflict resolution, and other topics receive concurrent treatment. Computer scheduling, controlling, economic analysis, quality control and customer satisfaction are also stressed. |
