information about courses Professor Stout teaches in the schools of business and
engineering at Saint Martin's University in Lacey, Washington. In addition to his teaching duties, Stout serves as business administration department chair. Prior to that he was engineering management graduate program director. Active in university governance Stout has completed service as the university's faculty president and was a multi-term member of both faculty affairs and advancement committees. Service on other committees included the budget committee, the educational policies and curriculum committee, the accreditation self-study steering committee and the university's general education task force charged with evaluating and revising the university's general education program.
Professional memberships have included the American Association of University Professors, the American Society of Engineering Management, and life memberships in Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honorary and Chi Epsilon, the national civil engineering honor society, and the university honor society, the Society of Fellows.
