the sections of Roger Eastman, The Ways of Religion, dealing with religions of the East and write an
essay in which you deal with the following two questions: 1.
How does this
reading reflect the features of the religion to which it is related?
2.
How does it speak
to a more universal audience (or, what does it have to say that is of more I’m interested in having you
get at two dimensions of religion in this paper. Religions are specific and
different from each other, and yet they also tend to provide answers to needs
and issues that are fundamentally human and therefore transcend any single
