Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology ("MAC") 2. The Painting Reframed As you can see, the new mat
and frame made a large difference. Instead of the old frame
accenting the dark colors of the sky and foreground bushes, the new frame
pulls out the pinks and yellows in the lights.
In my family therapy class, we talk about the power of a therapeutic reframe in a counseling situation. Just as the frame changes how the painting is viewed, a therapist can change how the family perceives some event or family situation. On to Three
