My
main focus in life is my family.
I
have three children. Jacob
is 28, Adam is 26 and Jill is 24.
We love to camp as
a family and have taken our tent trailer to the Oregon Coast, the
California Redwoods, Yellowstone, Vancouver Island, Banff, and
points in between.

am most happy when surrounded by pine trees near a lake or stream. |

Christmas 2008 |
Summer
1999, I renewed my love of backpacking and took the family
to Loon Lake in Idaho’s Payette National Forest.
Blazing sun, giant dive-bomber mosquitoes, uphill both ways;
secluded lake with a family of moose splashing at midnight, and cozy
campfire – pure torture and pure bliss.
One appreciates more what one really has to work for. However, on
the flip side, I am a great fan of bed and breakfast places
and have met many wonderful and interesting people while being pampered.
I want it all!

I earned my bachelor's
degree from The Evergreen State College in the summer of 2008.
I am currently a student in the MAC program. I
enjoy cooking and entertaining. I
also like to experiment on the yard.
I grow roses, azaleas, dahlias, and assorted flowers
and plants. I have spent a large part of
my life attending my children’s events. |

| I
was the assistant leader for my daughter’s girl scout
troop for nine years. I have been a long-time
church volunteer, working with children, youth, and adults, and
currently serve
as a volunteer with SafePlace working on the sexual assault
response team and running a domestic violence support group. I
enjoy traveling, hot springs pools, dancing, aerobics, and tennis. I love cats more than anything in the world.
Our family has two; Max, a Silver Tabby, and Furrari, an
Apple-head Seal-point Siamese. They both help keep the couches and
beds from floating away. |

I
like my job in the MAC Program at Saint Martin's University and the people I
meet, and I’m looking
forward to meeting all of you!
