                                                                               WANTED

We are in desperate need to hire 25 detectives to solve a dirty crime. This crime consists of criminals littering all over the neighborhood throwing away products that can be recycled, reused, and reduced. It is your job to help clean up the streets.  However, before we go into the streets, we must pass the skills qualification class located at recycle city, located at the northwest end.

INTRODUCTION

Everyone throws out trash.   You and your family might fill several bags a week with waste paper, empty cans, plastic bottles and glass jars, food scraps, and other garbage.  Much of the garbage can be recycled, reduced or reused instead of being thrown away.  The purpose of this assignment is to understand why it is important to recycle, reduce, and reuse waste.

TASK

In Garbage Land, Washington, the streets are filled with litter.  It is up to the detectives to be able to distinguish all the litter that can be recycled, reduced and reused. Your task is to visit Recycle City located at the Northwest end at http://www.ea.gov/recyclecity/ see how that neighborhood cleaned up their town. You will also determine how Recycle City reduces waste and saves money.  You will also find out where the garbage goes.
