OFFICER
POSITION DESCRIPTIONS
 

President: In equal partnership with the Vice-President: Coordinate monthly meetings for the students belonging to the club; coordinate monthly meetings for the office holders for information sharing and planning; act as a representative of the constituency of education students with the faculty and AS+SMU; manage the daily workings of keeping the club up and running and transitions to new office holders

 

Vice-President: Act as the Sergeant –at- Arms to ensure proper and orderly conduct of meetings and functions. In an equal partnership with the President: coordinate monthly meetings for the students belonging to the club; coordinate monthly meetings for the office holders for information sharing and planning; act as a representative of the constituency of education students with the faculty and AS+SMU; manage the daily workings of keeping the club up and running and transitions to new office holders.

 

Treasurer: Maintain a ledger of financial transactions made by the club: Keep track of monthly allowed expenses for meetings, collect, and turn in receipts from buyers to the AS+SMU Business VP, collect and turn in any money from fund raising endeavors or Scholastic Book Fairs and ensure all accounts are in order.  Maintain a ledger of the Educators of Tomorrow 22 account: transactions to and from the account with detailed explanations of expenditures and deposits

 

Secretary: Maintain the minutes for monthly Educators of Tomorrow meetings and officer meetings.  Ensure a copy of the minutes for each of these meetings is posted on the Educators of Tomorrow website within 7 working days of the meeting.

 

Public Relations Coordinator:  Maintain the Educators of Tomorrow bulletin boards located on the 4th floor of Old Main.  Create flyers for special or fundraising events, education club meetings, and ensure distribution to the College of Education office for distribution to Education Faculty.  Ensure updates to any flyers or bulletin board announcements are posted to the Educators of Tomorrow website at Saint Martin's.
