Established in 1906, Phi Delta Kappa International is an non-profit
organization for professional women and men in education.
Membership is composed of
recognized leaders in the profession and graduate students in education
whose leadership potential has been identified. Members include classroom
teachers, student teachers, school administrators, college and university professors, and educational specialists of many types. In Phi Delta Kappa,
however, they find a fellowship based on common interests and ideas
devoted to the promotion of free public education.

is open to educators at all levels, including students who are currently
planning a career in education. We have 60,000 members throughout the
world with 660 chapters scattered across the US, Canada, and 12 other
