Dr. Jung has M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Aerospace engineering from University of Florida in Gainesville.  He is B.S. in aeronautical engineering from Seoul National University in Seoul. He is the ASME student section advisor, Pi Tau Sigma (National Mechanical Engineering Honor Society) advisor,  and the chair of the Puget Sound Section of ASME.  He is a member of the  Lacey Sunrise Lion's club and the Olympia Presbytery's Committee on Ministry.  He is a board member of the  Lacey fun fair. 

Dr. Jung is a life member of Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honorary, and Sigma Gamma Tau, the national aerospace engineering honor society.
