Did you Know??
The average person blinks about 12 times a minute. That's an amazing 10,080 blinks in a kids day
An eagle can see a rabbit about 1 mile or 1760 yards away. The average person needs to be about 550 yards away to see the same rabbit.
People who are color blind just can't see things in as many colors as people who have normal vision, and they cannot see certain colors like red, green, and some blues.
Your eyes are at work from the moment you wake up to the moment you close them to go to sleep. They take in tons of information about the world around you - shapes, colors, movements, and more. Then they send the information to your brain where it's processed so the brain knows what's going on outside of your body. By completing this WebQuest, you will get to know a little more about your eyes and how they work.

You will have 3 tasks to complete:
1. Look at a diagram of the eye and use it to fill in the blanks on your own eye diagram.
2. Research eye facts about 3 animals and complete an organizational chart.
3. Read "A Day in the Life of a Dog Guide" and "A Dog Guide Q&A" and write a one page response paper.
You can find the Eye Diagram on this page.
Eye facts can be found at the following pages:
