OCTOBER 13th -15th, 2005
Doubletree Hotel, Seattle Airport, Washington
Title of Presentation:
Family Functional Parole (FFP) and the Integrated Treatment Model
Presented by: Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration/Region 5
Brief description of your program (45 words or less: use additional sheet if necessary):
The most serious juvenile offenders are committed to the Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration (JRA) by the Juvenile Courts. In the year 2000 JRA implemented a new Integrated Treatment Model combining a residential cognitive/behavioral approach with a family based aftercare component to provide a seamless continuum of care for juvenile offenders and their families in the state of Washington. This model has shown great promise in the rehabilitation and reduction in recidivism with an increasingly complex population of youth who have mental health, substance abuse, social and cognitive disabilities. JRA is the national leader in the implementation of evidence based treatment programming for youth.
